Strategic Planning Committee
PURPOSE: The purpose of the Strategic Planning Committee is to establish and monitor organizational annual goals and strategies. The committee uses the American Organization of Nurse Executives Annual Strategic Plan to guide FONE goals. The Committee provides an opportunity for collaboration among members and the FONE Board in establishing goals to meet the needs of members; enhance the practice of nursing and the outcomes of patient care.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Committee responsibilities include:
- Review and recommendation of the annual FONE Strategic Plan
- Ensuring FONE Chapters and Committees are involved in the strategic planning process
- Reporting on achievement of organizational goals and strategies on a quarterly basis.
- Provide an annual report on the strategic plan at the fall Annual Meeting.
MEETING FREQUENCY: Monthly to bi-monthly depending on the phases of the strategic planning cycle.
MEMBERSHIP: All FONE Board members and any member interested in participating in strategic planning for the organization.
